Come on in guys!

Week 3 is in the books, 3 people are on extinction island, and Manu has lost 3 challenges in a row. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how a player who is a social outcast, has a injured foot, and stole the freaking flint is still in this game. This episode really did have a-lot of absurdity as not only did Wendy survive the previously mentioned factors that should have served as a Survivor death trap but a returning player who orchestrated a major blindside of an elite power player had it blow up in his face and had zero responsibility brought upon him. I should know better to call anything absurd because after all this is Survivor.

My Pick is Still in!

That’s right! The Lioness, AKA Lauren has now survived 3 Tribal Counsels without facing any immediate pressure. If Lauren is the Lioness then Kelly Wentworth is her knoll of grass that she continues to stalk behind until her moment to strike presents itself. Lauren will make a big move in this game but as everyone knows she is the Lioness and will wait for the perfect moment to strike. Now I know she will be in some hot water at the merge as she is both a threat and is on the outnumbered Manu tribe but do not forget that she still has an idol and will be able to get herself out of sticky situations. So the Lauren train rolls on! How has the Lioness nickname not stuck…

Reem is Coming

As all the crazy political squabbling unfolds between Manu and Kama the real threat looms on Excitation Island. Mama Reem waits now adding Kieth and Chris to her army of the dead. I can’t wait for Reem to come back and reek (no pun intended) havoc on the game. Remember…Reem is coming.

Who is Going Home Next?

Okay so each week I try to guess who is going home and I have been unsuccessful so far. So this week I am trying something different. I am going to put the Survivors in a random name generator and will try to convince myself and you why this person will go home.

Okay as you can see it will be Eric going home next week. This will be a tough one but let’s try to think of a situation where this happens. So next week they are swapping and going to have three tribes. Worst case scenario for Eric he is lumped into a tribe Aurora, David, Audrey, and Wendy. Aurora for some weird reason loves the returning players so would quickly for an alliance with Aubry and David. This would leave Eric to fend for himself because let’s be real Wendy is too much of a wild card to be a valuable partner. So I have to believe that this will work out perfectly and unfortunately Eric will be going home.

Episode 3 Takeaways

1. Chris deserved to be voted out

Former Met’s third basement David Wright orchestrated a brilliant blindside of Kelly only to have it implode because Chris after being warned not too, brought it to the attention of the WarDog. Turns out WarDog is a loyal soldier in the army of Kelly Wentworth. Chris should have kept his mouth quiet and all would have gone his way.

2. David Wright Hit the Eject Button at the Perfect Time.

The fact that David escaped this episode without any of the heat is wild to me. He was the one who started the war on Wentworth. Chris really did not think this would be good to tell the WarDog? As soon as it began to blow up both Rick and David hit the eject button and cleared themselves from this situation. I kind of like the brain trust duo of Rick and David

3 I See potential for Victoria as a power player

So we have not seen much of the strategical element from the Kama tribe but one player did jump out to me, Victoria. Victoria is not afraid to “play the game” even when the person she is talking about is right behind her…I admire her wanting to take charge of the game. I see her as the classic boom or bust player. Well let’s see if she will take the game far or will blow up in frames from her aggressive play.

Well after pure domination from the Kama tribe a huge tribe swap may be just what the Manu players needs to flip the power dynamic of the game.
