Come on in guys!
So two weeks in the books and in my opinion this has been an entertaining and interesting start to the season!
So right off the bat, it was another strong episode for my season 38 winner pick Lauren! If you could not tell I am a huge Lauren guy, oh and by the way last week she liked my first Survivor review on Twitter. So I am as all in as you can be on the Lauren train! It was no surprise that she would have another stellar week as she not only found an idol but she survived a messy vote without drawing attention to herself. Now I am glad she found the idol but it will be important that she treats this idol with caution. If word comes out that she has an idol an extra large target will cling to her back. Lauren has developed a strategic relationship with Kelly Wentworth and it is working out perfectly for her. Kelly is her shield and as I have previously said she will ride this shield until the perfect moment and like the lioness from the grass she will strike. (From this point forward my nickname for Lauren will be the lioness) My only concern is the possibility she reveals she has an idol to Kelly. Any information that Kelly has at her disposal can be manipulated so I’m hoping the Lioness plays this card close and has a one up until her time to strike.
I was wrong about Wendy
What can I say, Wendy had a good week. I thought there was a 110% chance she was going home. I did predict that Kama would roll over Manu in the challenges which remained true but when I thought Wendy would have zero ability to save herself she proved me wrong and had a great episode. Wendy played far more aggressively then she did last week and was able to get the whispers of voting out Kelly started. Wendy laid it all on the line for David and Rick and while they did not orchestrate a vote for Kelly it allowed David and Rick to see Wendy as a loyal asset. If Manu loses the next challenge I see a three-way power struggle between David, Kelly, and Wardog which will take the target off of Wendy for now. Also, shout out to Wendy for proving herself a strong tribe member when it came to the challenge. So it turns out first impressions don’t mean everything in Survivor.
The Vote
Tough outing for Keith tonight. Voting Keith out was the right move. I understand David wanting to take out kelly before she can take him out but at this point in the game, they have to get their tribe strong. Survivor is such a complicated game but at the end of the day it comes down to numbers. I can easily see Manu being down 3/4 players at the merge so they had to do anything possible to strengthen the team.
It seemed like Kelly was on the chopping block but it was The Wardog who kept a level head and convinced the tribe to stay strong. Is there more to Wardog than meets the eye? Has there ever been a survivor winner with a Brooklyn Nets tattoo? While I think it will be a short ride we should all buckle up and enjoy the Wardog while we can.

I love Wendy’s wild card vote for Kelly. The tribe was going one way, she could have easily aligned with the group, but no, she went for the big play. Say what you want about Wendy but she votes with her heart. I think David is going to create a weird alliance with Wendy and who knows maybe she can make some noise
Edge of Extinction
Okay, there is no way Keith does not stay in the game right? Oh and speaking of the Edge of Extinction remember REEM IS COMINGh

Who is going home next?
Okay so with Keith gone I’m going to play the law of averages and say Kama will finally face tribal. I’m going to say Aubry is going home next. As the returning player, she comes in with a target on her back and honestly I’m not really sure what she can bring to the tribe. She is a great strategic player which only gives the new players a new reason to vote her out. So Aubry I’m sorry but the blog has spoken
